The Educator had embarked on various developmental program within the Makoko Community over the last 10 years in the areas of Education, Health, Spiritual Nurturing and Growth. Our experience from these years of engagement revealed that building the capacities of the Makoko youths towards acquiring a skill or a trade is one of the most effective ways to deliver them from poverty. The objective is to guide the youths in Makoko towards establishing micro credits business enterprises within their community and environs generating daily income by meeting essential needs and providing services. The idea is for them to start from their immediate market and gradually penetrate into other neighboring markets.
